General

Plants are built and assembled in close coopration with our customers. During the offer phase, our team members analyze the required assembly and installation steps and outline the distribution of the individual tasks on the basis of the stations of the machine.

The plants can be designed as fully automatic machines with integrated sorting and feed technology for bulk parts in combination with automatic packaging modules for the finished products or as semi-automatic systems with manual feeding and removal of parts. Individuality is our focus. Each plant differs from the others in some way in terms of requirements. In addition to assembly, we also take care of tasks such as parts feeding, labelling, sorting, and packaging. Not only does all of this offer the customer independence, it also provides a tailored solution for the customer’s individual application.

For applications in the pharmaceutical industry, lab technology, medical technology or diagnostic, Automations Robotic GmbH integrates only robot systems of well-established manufacturer like ABB, Yaskawa, Kuka, Stäubli etc. and offers therefore complete solutions for specific requirements and customer wishes.

APPLICATION IN LAB – AUTOMATION

Robot supported systems are very well suited for laboratory applications like automated testing and analyzing, creation of cell cultures, probe handling, filling and packaging.

Robot supported systems are suitable for small batches as well as for large-volume productions.

An easy communication with the machine via a userfriendly HMI, an easy programming of the system and a recipe management system ensure a continous, reliable and reproducible process.

Integrated camera systems are available for vision applications like code verification, colour identification, etc.

APPLICATION IN LAB – AUTOMATION

Roboterunterstütze Systeme

Robot supported systems are able to fill daily thousands of diagnostic tubes fast and reliable. Depending on customer requirements, either the pipettes or the microwell plates are moved very precise and reproducible. 

An easy communication with the machine via a userfriendly HMI, an easy programming of the system and a recipe management system ensure a continous, reliable and reproducible process.

Integrated camera systems are available for vision applications like code verification, colour identification, etc.

LOADING AND UNLAODING APPLICATIONS

Automated robot systems are suitable for typical loading and unloading applications like:

  • Palletizing/depalletizing of boxes and other packages
  • Loading of trays into trolleys respectively unloading of trays from trolleys
  • Loading and unloading of machines
  • Loading of filled trays at the infeed of a machine with automatic feeding of loaded containers
  • Removal of filled trays at the outfeed

All plants can be equipped with camera stations for different vision applications like code verification, colour identification, counting of containers in trays, missing flip off cap, etc.

PACKAGING

Verpacken

The time consuming process of packaging, which is still a manual production step in many smaller companies, can be performed independently, reliably and reproducibly by using a robot supported packaging system. Depending on the requirements, either single units, multiple units or different units can be packed in one package.

All machines can be additionally equipped with camera stations for different vision applications like code verification, counting of products, colour identification, etc.

INSPECTION  APPLICATIONS

In order to improve the quality, more and more inspection technologies are installed in the pharmaceutical industry. 

Depending on the product and the application, various inspection technologies can be used

  • leak detection systems e.g. HSA (Head Space Analyzer)
  • camera systems for vision applications
  • spectrometer e.g. NIR (Near Infra Red)   
  • etc.

Automations Robotic GmbH supplies complete fully- or semi-automatic inspection machines for such applications. The design of the robot cell will be carried out in close consultation with the client.

FILLING  AND  SEALING

Füllen und Verschließen

By using robot supported systems, the time consuming and manual process of filling and sealing of vials and other containers (e.g. R&D production, production for clinical trials) can be optimized. The filling/sealing equipment will be choosen by the customer and integrated in a compact robot cell by Automations Robotic GmbH.   

The design of the robot cell will be carried out in close consultation with the client in order to optimize the feeding and transfer of  the containers and the filling and/or sealing process.

By using robot supported systems, a safe process for toxic, radioactive or other harmful products can be guaranteed. 

OTHER

All above mentioned sample applications shall demonstrate the variety of applications for robot systems in the lab technology, medical technology, diagnostic and pharmaceutical industry. Of course, there are much more applications where robot systems can optimize the procuction process like automatic sampling, handling of heavy and unwieldy containers, etc.
